We are looking for an enthusiastic specialist committed to patient-centered care to be the lead for this state-of-the-art 12-bed Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit (Stroke Rehabilitation Certified through the Joint Commission) with expansive diagnostic services. The Rehab Unit is telemetry ready, with lift systems in each room, a horticulture program and mobility garden, and more. You can expect to treat such things as stroke, neurological disorders, hip fractures, amputation, brain injuries, SCI, deconditioning and multi-trauma. This unit is supported by an expert Hospitalist team and many hospital-employed specialists. You will report to the Medical Director of Physiatry. As the primary inpatient provider, you will see your discharged patients for outpatient follow-ups for continuity of care, and for various procedures.
