Monterey: We seek a skilled INPATIENT PHYSICIAN – Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrician – to join a respected post-acute care service in desirable Monterey County. This is an exceptional opportunity to apply your expertise and support inpatients with a wide range of conditions, situations and rehabilitation needs while earning a great income and enjoying an excellent work/life balance. Full-time physicians typically spend 4 hours/day or less rounding on an average of 16-18 patients and coordinating care with nursing leadership. Houlton: We seek a skilled physician with an interest in Adult Medicine and Geriatrics for an interesting, blended practice. You will spend half your time in an outpatient primary care setting seeing ambulatory adults and seniors. The other half of your practice is in the role of Nursing Home Medical Director for two local facilities: one with 120 beds (residential, rehab and nursing) and one with 30 beds. You will provide inpatient services for patients who are stable, but unable to live at home. Typical patients are dealing with issues including stroke, COPD, joint replacement, hip fracture, amputations, pneumonia, etc. Qualified candidates can be certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Med/Peds, Geriatrics, etc., and doctors with Wound Care skills will receive priority consideration.
