Qualified candidates will be certified in either Family Medicine or Internal Medicine. You will lead the team managing a 34-bed Progressive Care Unit (PCU – a combination of ICU, Step-Down, and Med/Surg). Join 4 physician Hospitalists and 2 APPs, along with per diem providers who fill out the schedule. This is a hands-on role that includes providing patient direct care. Step-down beds in the PCU are for people transitioning between the ICU and Med/Surg. Patients awaiting nursing home placement sometimes spend time on this unit. Join a state-of-the-art nonprofit with private, newly constructed inpatient rooms.
