Map of Maine showing the location of Lincoln

Maine is the #2 State for Living and Working, and the #2 Safest State in the US.

Lincoln is the “Home of 13 Lakes” – ranging from small “kayak-only” lakes to big “all-sports” lakes for powerboats and waterskiing. If you dream of a waterfront lifestyle, you have options here. Thinking about a country home with acreage? That’s available too. Or, live closer to city amenities and have an easy commute from any of Bangor’s suburbs.

Lincoln is a regional hub that draws people for commerce, the waterways, and for hundreds of miles of groomed snowmobile and ATV trails. Enjoy fantastic recreation with boating, camping, biking and hiking and climbing, hunting and fishing – and in the wintertime, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and ice fishing. An hour north of Lincoln is scenic Baxter State Park with 200,000 acres that includes Mt. Katahdin, Maine's tallest peak.

Bangor is Maine’s third largest city, with over 100,000 people plus an international airport, shopping malls and theatres, dozens of restaurants, a wonderful children’s museum, a symphony orchestra, a casino/hotel complex, a stadium, summer concerts and annual music festivals on the riverfront, and much more. Between Lincoln and Bangor is the city of Orono, where the University of Maine has 10,000 full time students and an abundance of cultural and collegiate sporting events including NCAA Division I football, soccer, basketball, baseball and hockey.
