Augusta: We invite a skilled Wound Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the superb medical staff of Maine’s newest hospital – a state-of-the-art 192-bed regional medical center (less than five years old) in Maine's dynamic capital city, just one hour from Portland. This physician-led medical center is Maine’s third largest healthcare system. You will be employed by the hospital, and practice in a dedicated Outpatient Wound Clinic with a new Hyperbaric chamber on site. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will perform outpatient procedures (including occasional use of the hyperbaric chamber), provide consults and follow-ups, see post-op patients, and occasionally round on inpatients, participating in their discharges. In addition, you will provide education to patients, family members and other caregivers.
