Enjoy an incredible quality of life in a thriving community that offers the best of both rural and urban worlds. Nearby Portsmouth is a picturesque, multi-faceted city of 22,000 – a popular tourist town that is also a historic seaport, a thriving home for families, and a center of business and commerce. New England famously offers a variety of recreational options across four distinct seasons. Take in the fresh air and scenic autumn colors while hiking in the nearby hills and mountains. In the summertime, enjoy beautiful powdery beaches and state parks for quiet days on the water, surfing or kite flying, or take in the exciting resort-town nightlife. Enjoy challenging golf courses or jogging or biking along scenic riverside paths. Boating is especially popular, with sailing and kayaking on sparkling lakes or in quiet sea coves.
