In this broad scope role, you will work with patients in all aspects of care, inpatient and outpatient. You will take histories and perform physicals, evaluate patients, and provide pre- and post-op education. You will assist the surgeons in the OR, including such things as starting IVs, handling injections, and performing suturing. You will round on inpatients, provide wound care, and facilitate patient discharges too.
